This time, I would like to invite you to join me in Budai Arborétum botanical garden, a peaceful botanical garden filled with various trees and flowers, where You can enjoy relaxed Sunday afternoon and connect to nature through slow sketching.
We will practise loose, slow line sketching of the trees, branches, flowers, leaves, whatever will catch your attention. Then we will use watercolour to bring in some free flow of colour to our sketches.
If it is your first time trying out sketching, it is not a problem. I will introduce you to the first steps of sketching with warmup exercises, and some very simple instructions.
There is no way of doing it wrong – for me, sketching is the process of curiosity, the discovery, the pure experimenting when we can surprise ourselves.
By joining the workshop you can practise letting go of your ‘perfect drawing’ expectations. The workshop is for all who would like to experiment in a friendly environment.
The workshop will be held in English (language is not an obstacle to enjoy sketching).
